I’ve been a San Diego Postpartum Doula since 2009, receiving my certification from DONA International.  I became a Certified Lactation Counselor through Healthy Children’s Center for Breastfeeding and Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice in 2010.

I love being able to provide you and your partner with the information and support you need, so that you feel confident taking care of your baby. I’m able to provide help from one day to three months or more.  I’m there to assist you, so that you can rest, enjoy your baby or babies, and recover from childbirth.  I’m certified in Infant CPR and First Aid. My rates are: $25/hour for one baby and $30/hr for more than one baby. I can also help you with insurance reimbursement. I’ve assisted families with one newborn, twins, triplets, and newborns with older siblings.

I also love anything to do with textiles. I’ve knitted and crocheted baby hats and am now learning to quilt. I’ve lived in San Diego since 1991 with my husband, two children, and our dog Lucky.
